10 years ago, an act of war gave new cause to pray for peace. And we are still praying today.
That day, the entire world was changed. In an unexpected act of violence, the devastating attacks on that sunny New England morning spurned a prayer throughout the world.
We pray for ourselves, our families, our neighbors, our communities, all the countries across the globe, all faiths… We pray for our enemies as well as our allies… We pray for understanding and guidance… We pray for the whole world.
On Sunday, September 11, 2011, 6pm. We will hold vigil as we worship together in song, scripture, meal and prayer. We invite the whole community to join us in the Rooftop Garden as we lift up this ongoing prayer for the tragic losses the world experienced on that day. Together, will look forward in hope as we remember the promises of our Lord. All are invited.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
