This past Sunday evening during worship we had some open space when people could reflect on the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We had water, fire, wind, art, writing, music… but the most popular was a particular origami dove instruction video.

Unfortunately, our time was limited and some people didn’t get it all by the time we decided to move on. So, for all of you who are still looking for a way to make a Pentecost Dove of the Holy Spirit out of a square-cut piece of paper: here, once again, is that video.

This week, for the Feast of the Ascension, our Sunday Evening Service spent some time looking at the skies. With undoubtedly perfect weather, we decided to congregate in Trinity Lutheran College’s Rooftop Garden.

Joining us were pastors Jeannine Daggett from Zion Lutheran and Jocelyn Carson from Trinity Lutheran. They each helped to create a very lively, inspired narrative around the texts. Waiting. Power. Community. Glory. It seemed appropriate to sing a U2 song: “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”.

We meet every Sunday Evening at Trinity Lutheran College in Everett, WA.

See you there.
